8:55pm Tuesday, June 10... we got power back! And today it's proved most helpful as I've printed directions for the grand weekend to come, caught up on correspondences, and looked up apartment complexes to make appointments. Due to that productivity, I now have a binder labeled "A Grand Rapids Weekend" sitting on the kitchen table. It's complete with every set of directions I may need between my dozen-plus destinations, important phone numbers and addresses for the weekend, information on three apartments, and spreadsheets on job applications. Organization doesn't get much better than this. :)
This evening I was doing my daily checks on job postings for the schools I've earmarked. Two more have listings- and the schools are even my number 1 and number 3... at least that's how a family friend and community member ranked them. ;) Hopefully one or both of those will turn into interview offers... and maybe even a job. :) Exciting times....
