- My interview went well but did not result in a job. I'm nowhere near heartbroken, so don't worry. It was an excellent experience.
- Susan and I had fun adventures looking at apartments Friday afternoon.
- I cut my toe open when I slipped out of my shoe in the rain after visiting the last apartment complex.
- I went to Susan's before heading up to Grand Rapids Friday night. She fed me and fixed my toe up. :)
- Rachael's wedding was beautiful, the reception was great fun, and the brunch Sunday morning just about topped off the marvelous festivities.
- Seeing all the Maddawgs again was simply phenomenal. Saying good-byes was only bearable because I'll see most of them again in three weeks at Amy Brown's wedding. :D
- Visiting old friends is one of the best things ever.
- I love thunderstorms.
- Rummikub should be in your game collection.
- I had dinner Sunday night with the Jeverts, spent the night, and then ran errands with Susan and her sister, met their summer boss, was practically hired for next summer, ate lunch, and then began my drive home.
- The drive, despite construction, was uneventful.
- Kirstin opened the garage and ran down the driveway before I got out of my car.
- I'm meeting some good high school friends for breakfast tomorrow.
- I received a piece of mail on Saturday. It had big bold red letters printed across the front. "Do not bend. Teaching license enclosed." For those of you who need a little help, that means I am now, officially, a licensed teacher! And, if you put a few more things together... I'm an unemployed licensed teacher. :P Regardless, I now have solid credentials [that will hopefully be recognized in MI]. Tomorrow I'm applying for my Michigan certificate. The pieces are slowly coming together. :)
And, with that, I'm heading to bed- probably in a round about way, but I'll get there soon enough. Pictures from the weekend will follow sometime shortly. ;)
