Today mom, grandma and I set out hunting for some good Memorial 
Day sales. I ended up with a hand mixer for the insane amount of baking that I'll be doing (hopefully), some beautiful bright sunny yellow measuring cups to aid in that venture, a long plastic cutting board and, finally, a new member to the family.
Fred is my new friend and, to welcome him, we decided to watch TV together this evening... ok, not really, but I am quite excited to put him to use. As you can see, he's a clown fish tea kettle. Now, I'm not exactly sure what could be more exciting than having a clown fish as a tea kettle. If you have any ideas, let me know. But I think I take the cake on this one. :)
